If it wasn’t for those violent gusts that whisk away your disposable tableware, eating al fresco would be a significantly more pleasurable experience. The Bye Bye Wind Table is one of few effective design solutions to minimizing the effect of this invisible force of nature without involving any fastening accessories to work.
Paola Oliva and Marco Marotto collaborated on this fluid piece of furniture that features an undulating surface specifically for the purpose of keeping paper plates in place. Broad round dimples have been sculpted into all four sides of the Bye Bye Wind Table to act as shielded refuges from oncoming breezes. Pockets at the corners, in the center and behind the chairs provide flexible storage for a variety foods and other lightweight dishes.
