Progettare un appartamento per una giovane coppia di sposi è sempre una sfida sorprendente, ma anche una grande responsabilità: la casa, non dovrà essere solamente accogliente e conciliare armonicamente gli spazi che dovranno essere vissuti come focolare domestico, ma dovrà rispecchiare soprattutto il carattere unico di chi la vivrà. La quotidianità vissuta nella propria casa dovrà essere un qualcosa di inaspettato e magico allo stesso tempo, come quando per destino incontri una persona che non stavi cercando per poi renderti conto che non hai desiderato nient’altro di meglio al mondo. Non solo quindi ricerca di originalità e unicità, ma anche naturalezza, fluidità e armonia sono i principi cardine della progettazione di questo appartamento di 90 mq situato nel quartiere Prati a Roma, che già dall’ingresso mostra queste caratteristiche peculiari di benessere visivo tramite una cascata di verde prorompente che viene dilatata all’infinito grazie ad uno specchio a tutta altezza che psicologicamente ci ricorda come tutti i rapporti di coppia siano a “specchio”: l’uno si riflette nel volto dell’altro ed evolve proprio come gli spazi di una casa. Questo ingresso rigoglioso e verdeggiante accompagna gradualmente il visitatore fino all’open-space che risulta, minimale, rigoglioso, funzionale ma anche caldo e accogliente grazie all’uso del parquet in rovere naturale posato a spina italiana in tutto l’appartamento; anche i dettagli color tortora degli arredi e delle piastrelle in bagno donano nuances delicate e raffinate in armonia con il total white predominante delle pareti.La camera da letto padronale acquisisce raffinatezza grazie all’utilizzo di una carta da parati dai richiami floreali stilizzati posata sulla parete della testata del letto in contrapposizione alla vetrata eterea che caratterizza le ante scorrevoli della cabina armadio creando riflessi e giochi di luce con l’ambiente che la circonda. Tutta la progettazione e la realizzazione dell’appartamento segue un flusso di idee armonioso, in divenire con il tempo e lo spazio, ma soprattutto in sintonia con il ritmo circadiano e non ultimo quello dell’anima.
Designing an apartment for a young married couple is always a surprising challenge, but also a great responsibility: the house must not only be welcoming and harmoniously reconcile the spaces that must be lived as a home, but must above all reflect the unique character of who will live it. The everyday life lived in your own home must be something unexpected and magical at the same time, like when by fate you meet a person you weren’t looking for and then realize that you didn’t want anything better in the world. Therefore, not only the search for the originality and the uniqueness, but also the naturalness, the fluidity and the harmony are the key principles of the design of this 90 sqm apartment located in the Prati district in Rome, which already from the entrance shows these peculiar characteristics of visual well-being through a waterfall of bursting green that is dilated to infinity thanks to a full-height mirror that psychologically reminds us how all couple relationships are a “mirror”: one is reflected into the face of the other and evolves just like the spaces of a house. This luxuriant and verdant entrance gradually accompanies the visitor to the open space which is minimal, luxuriant, functional but also warm and welcoming thanks to the use of natural oak parquet laid in an Italian herringbone pattern throughout the apartment; also the dove-colored details of the furnishings and the tiles in the bathroom give delicate and refined nuances in harmony with the predominant total white of the walls. The master bedroom acquires refinement thanks to the use of wallpaper with stylized floral references placed on the wall of the head of the bed as opposed to the ethereal glass window that characterizes the sliding doors of the walk-in closet, creating reflections and plays of light with the environment that surrounds it. The entire design and construction of the apartment follows a harmonious flow of ideas, evolving with time and space, but above all in harmony with the circadian rhythm and not least with the soul.
