Come nell’arte marziale del Karate, dove l’obiettivo principale non è vincere, ma esercitarsi assiduamente al fine di plasmare e modellare il carattere, così nella progettazione di questo appartamento situato a Milano di 115 mq le tecniche utilizzate nella realizzazione seguono un ampio ventaglio specialistico basato sull’uso di una scoperta graduale degli ambienti unita alla ricercatezza per i dettagli a 24 karati. L’architettura d’interni, infatti, può seguire una propria disciplina, come nel karate, a livello distributivo e funzionale degli ambienti spaziando nell’uso dei materiali, delle luci e dei colori, arricchiti da una ricerca materica e visiva anche a livello sensoriale. Su richiesta dei committenti, l’uso del colore carta da zucchero, nuance elegante e senza tempo, raffinata e bohémien, si è prestato ad accostamenti cromatici più audaci come il giallo ocra ed essendo un colore acquatico, a metà tra l’azzurro e il grigio, ha impreziosito pareti e dettagli di una percezione molto suggestiva e senza tempo. L’appartamento è caratterizzato da un ampio open-space dove a farne da padrone è l’imponente tavolo con piano in gres effetto Calacatta Gold e gambe in brushed bronze su cui fluttuano, a varie altezze, lampade in vetro dai riflessi d’orati e forme che richiamo epoche passate e gli sfarzi tipici dei saloni Viennesi, dove i cristalli dei lampadari che brillavano alla luce come stelle facevano scintillare i candelabri delle sale adibite a festa. L’ampia vetrata dai riflessi del bronzo separa la cucina total-white, decisamente minimalista, dall’open-space limitrofo, creando un ambiente intimo ed accogliente, seppur perscrutabile. Gli ambienti vengono scanditi dalla carta da parati che come il filo di Arianna guida gli ospiti nei vari ambienti non facendoli mai sentire persi grazie alla sua rassicurante e tenue palette di colori che crea quel trait d’union con tutti gli ambienti; per questo se nel bagno ospiti ritroviamo le lastre in gres effetto Calacatta Gold, nel bagno padronale i toni della carta da zucchero ritornano grazie ad un effetto 3d materico a parete; invece la camera padronale reinterpreta il concetto dell’oro e del luccichio unito a quel tocco bohémien delle luci da lettura che scherzano in maniera moderna con un materiale senza tempo come la porcellana, il tutto viene reso armonioso dalla testata del letto che come un avvolgente abbraccio aspetta i padroni di casa.

Interior architecture, in fact, can follow its own discipline, as in karate, at the distribution and functional level of the environments, ranging in the use of materials, lights and colors, enriched by a material and visual research also on a sensorial level. At the request of the clients, the use of blue color, an elegant and timeless, refined and bohemian nuance, lent itself to more daring color combinations such as yellow ocher and being an aquatic color, halfway between blue and gray, has embellished the walls and details of a very suggestive and timeless perception. The apartment is characterized by a large open-space where the imposing table with Calacatta Gold effect stoneware top and brushed bronze legs is at the centre of attention on which glass lamps with golden reflections float at various heights with shapes that recall past eras and the typical splendor of Viennese salons, where the crystals of the chandeliers that shone in the light like stars made the candelabra of the rooms used for celebrations sparkle. The large glass door with bronze reflections separates the total-white decidedly minimalist kitchen from the neighboring open space, creating an intimate and welcoming, albeit inscrutable, environment. The rooms are marked by wallpaper that, like Ariadne’s thread, guides guests in the various rooms, never making them feel lost thanks to its reassuring and soft color palette that creates a trait d’union with all the environments; for this reason, if in the guest bathroom we find the Calacatta Gold effect stoneware slabs, in the master bathroom the shades of sugar paper return thanks to a 3d effect on the wall; instead the master bedroom reinterprets the concept of gold and glitter combined with that bohemian touch of the reading lights that play in a modern way with a timeless material such as porcelain, everything is made harmonious by the headboard that awaits the hosts like an enveloping embrace.
