La costante ricerca creativa di un concept urbano della società Soul Movie Entertainment , che nel tempo si è evoluta sia come brand sia in termini architettonici con la nascita dell’ headquarters di Roma, è alla base della realizzazione della nuova sede di Cologno Monzese (MI), ma con un approccio decisamente più industrial. I nuovi uffici di produzione e post produzione audiovisiva si sviluppano su tre piani di un edificio molto luminoso, caratterizzato da vetrate continue e un’ossatura a travi e pilastri in ferro micaceo che, dopo il sopralluogo e il rilievo iniziali, è stata volutamente integrata nel design degli interni: in particolare all’ingresso e nelle aree lounge del primo e secondo piano sono state realizzate delle griglie in ferro, disposte a varie altezze che, oltre a creare un effetto wireframe, di enorme profondità visiva e tridimensionale, fungono da alloggio per il posizionamento di luci puntiformi e piante artificiali. L’ingresso agli uffici è dinamico e anche qui spicca l’impronta urbana: il desk monolitico della reception è realizzato in cemento grezzo e alle sue spalle una parete total green fa da sfondo al logo della società che domina sull’intero ambiente. Il concetto di ‘wayfinding’ inteso come orientamento nello spazio è enfatizzato da scritte adesive a terra che guidano l’occhio ad una facile individuazione delle aree, inoltre ogni sala di produzione è identificabile grazie ad una segnaletica verticale che prende spunto dalle fermate della metropolitana di Milano e caratterizza lo spazio dando un senso di “movimento ideologico”, un continuo “work in progress” all’interno delle sale. I principali coni visivi delle sale sono stati graficamente enfatizzati da fasce parallele di color giallo ocra in abbinamento a divani e sedie in tinta, creando un accentuato effetto di tridimensionalità. La collocazione di alberi di betulla installati a filo pavimento, di erba e piante artificiali migliora il comfort delle aree comuni e il benessere visivo dando al fruitore la percezione di essere in uno spazio al limite tra l’interno e l’esterno, permettendo di vivere un ambiente borderline, mai statico e di continua scoperta sensoriale.
The constant creative research of an urban concept of the company Soul Movie Entertainment, which over time has evolved both as a brand and in architectural terms with the birth of the Rome headquarters, is at the basis for the construction of the new headquarters in Cologno Monzese (MI), but with a decidedly more industrial approach. The new production and post-production audiovisual offices are spread over three floors of a very bright building, characterized by continuous windows and a skeleton with beams and pillars in micaceous iron that, after the initial inspection and survey, has been deliberately integrated into the interior design: in particular, at the entrance and in the lounge areas of the first and second floors, iron grids were created, arranged at various heights, which in addition to creating a wireframe effect, of enormous visual and three-dimensional depth, they act as accommodation for the positioning of point lights and artificial plants. The entrance to the offices is dynamic and here too the urban imprint stands out: the monolithic reception desk is made of rough concrete and behind it a total green wall forms the background of the company’s logo overlooking the whole environment. The concept of ‘wayfinding’ understood as an orientation in space is emphasized by adhesive writings on the floor that guide the eye to an easy identification of the areas, in addition, each production hall is identifiable thanks to a vertical signposting that takes its cue from the subway’s stops in Milan and characterizes the space giving a sense of “ideological movement”, a continuous “work in progress” within the halls. The main visual cones of the rooms have been graphically emphasized by parallel bands of ocher-yellow color combined with sofas and
chairs, creating an accentuated three-dimensional effect. The placement of birch trees installed at floor level, of grass and artificial plants improves the comfort of the common areas and the visual well-being, giving to the user the perception of being in a space at the limit between the inside and the outside, allowing to live a borderline environment, never static and of continuous sensory discovery.
